Brecklyn in the toy basket

So Brecklyn pulls some toys out of the toy basket and tries to get in... And can't fit in it. So she pulls all the toys out of the basket.... Then gets in the basket..... Then pulls all the toys back in the basket on top of her.... It took her a while to realize she has to pull ALL the toys out before she will fit in it. It was so funny she was hiding in there. She sat there and did this for about an hour. Jamie also told me she does it often since then. She had never done this before.

Sean's Job

Sean got laid off on April 8, 2009. He loved his job. He had a work truck with a gas card. They tried to keep him on as long as possible. They did a lay off in September and laid 3 guys off and so at this point it was down to 3 guys and the boss. One of which has been there 25 years and the other is the boss' son and the other is Sean so he was the next to go unfortanitly. So after about two weeks of being on unemployment and trying to find a job so he could provide for his family. He got one at Salmon Electric. Not what he wanted but now the stress is gone. He will be making $1.50 less an hour and no work truck. Oh and out of town but you have to do what you have to do you know. I am so happy he is back to work. So is Jamie she got her job back too. Any how thanks to Mom for putting in your good word and taking the application and resume to the owner. Huge stress is gone now thanks so much.

Lagoon Again 2009

So Brecklyn loves Lagoon but now we have gone 5 times since April 4 (when it opened) and twice now she has fallen. The first time she fell by the tidal wave while daddy and Aunt Jamie were on the swiings and the second time she fell on our way in right by the Entrance. The first time she fell she stopped her self with her hands but then went forward and scratched her forhead the second time she fell she bite her lip. She is ok just a little clumbsey I just wanted you to see the pics at lagoon so you know I don't abuse her (lol). She absolutely loves Lagoon.

Easter Egg Hunt with Mix 107.9

So Easter Weekend my work 107.9 put on an Easter egg hunt at Thanksgiving Point. I was not sure what Breck would do but come to find out she picked up a couple eggs and had a blast. Here are some pictures to show how much fun she had.

Lagoon 2009

So we now have season passes to Lagoon. Brecklyn loves it especially Bulgy the Whale (those of you who are my age probably rode it several times when you were a youngster). We have gone 3 times and it has only been open for 4 days. We like the time out of the house. Sean loves the new Wicked ride. And Breck likes the Kontiki (the Kiddie Tidal Wave). We tried to put her on the Kiddie Boats but she wasn't sure about it she cried and then daddy got her out and put her in one with another kid and she then still freaked.?. It is weird she loved Puff the Dragon. but not the boats I can't figure it out.

Anyhow on Easter Sunday we went to lagoon she wanted to get out of her stroller and walk for a little bit so I let her while daddy and Aunt Jamie rode the swings well needless to say she crashed. She fell once and I didn't think much of it she stopped herself with her knees and hands and got right back up then she fell again and some what stopped herself with her knees and hands but kinda went forward and crashed I felt like crap. It looks worse then it was.

My Poor Princess

My baby girl Brecklyn has been sick for 3 days now... She has had Diarea and has been vomiting. Her diapers have been really dry too.. She went from 6 PM-7 AM with very little urine in her diaper. She has had an ongoing fever that won't go away at about 101 degrees. I have been giving her motrin and she will act better for about an hour then start acting upset and sick again. She is very Dehydrated I started giving her Pedialight last night and she has managed to keep it down but she still won't eat and hasn't for a couple days. I took her to Primary Children's Hospital due to the Dehydration factor and fever that won't go away. I tried to take her to Kid's Kare but they won't accept Altius ( Stupid I know). We waited for two and a half hours and the only thing they could do is send me home and tell me that it is a bug that is going around and to keep her off milk and on Gatorade and Pedialight. They did nothing for my poor little one. She has been sleeping alot too. I had to miss work on Monday due to my baby sitter not able to make it and so I have had to be at work the rest of the week and I have had nothing but emotional break downs I feel so helpless in so many ways I am at work and can't be there for my baby, there is nothing i can do to make her feel better, and at work I have got nothing done because I am so worried about my princess. Also I just want to thank Dad and Jackie for being there for me and helping while Sean was in school and thanks to Jackie for thinking about my feelings I really appreciate it. Sorry Mom that you are sick and can't see your grandbaby.

Update on Dad

Dad is now home we are all so happy to have him home and safe. We love you all and thanks for the support. Dad has quit smoking...... Hopfully for good.

Dad, Get Well

Dad had a heart attack on Tuesday morning. He was working in Brigham City and fell to the ground his boss called 911. He then went to Ogden Reginal and about 5 min after he got there went in to another heart attack. Doctors then took him into emergency surgery to get a stint put in. About an hour later he was out and it was a success. He had a previous similer emcounter about 8 years ago. It was very scary. He is now doing great. He also thinks he may have had one the day before while at work.

He was put into ICU right after surgery and was told he would possibly be in there 3 days depending on the damage the heart attack caused. Well he is probably getting transfered in to a regular room (not in ICU) this afternoon. He is doing great. But... Hopefully he can quit his nasty habbit of smoking. He has a little bit of heart disease and he previously did not have this.

If you smoke and you are reading this and have any kids and/ or family think about them think about if you want this to happen to them.

My dad has a wife, 2 Daughters, 2 Step Sons and 2 great Grandbaby Girls under the age of 2 and two more great grandbabies on the way (congrats Zak and Loni) (they are having Twins). Not to mention 4 Siblings and a Mommy. We all are hoping and praying that he will quit smoking.
